Before her sudden passing, the always pleasant Jenni Rivera had thought of seeking out her own talk show. According to Tr3s, the show would have been called “El Show de Jenni Rivera” and would be held in the similar fashion to that of Oprah, where Jenni would have been seated interviewing different guests.
However, Jenni’s oldest daughter, Janney “Chiquis” Marin, would love to take over that dream and have a reality show of her own. “I would love to have a talk show like Cristina’s (Saralegui) or even like Don Francisco’s, but I would like to make it my own and I will get there,” the 27-year-old confirmed to People en Español.
Before moving forward with any kind of talk show, Chiquis Rivera needs to improve her Spanish so she sat down with Don Francisco and he gave her some tips: “In order to improve your Spanish you have to read and I am going to give you a book. You have to read it out loud and repeat it, and also watch my show,” which Chiquis admitted to doing to People en Español.
Chiquis Rivera still has other priorities to take care of
Don’t expect the talk show to take flight anytime soon though because, according to Huffington Post, Chiquis Rivera is focusing on her little siblings, stating how much they need each other right now with the absence of their legendary mom, Jenni Rivera. She also mentioned wanting to write a book and get into acting.
“A piece of unforgettable advice I once got from my mom is to never give up. If you fall, you have to get back up; my mom told me that that is why God created our behinds, so that when we fall we can get right back up,” Chiquis said.
