Thursday night’s 2013 Billboard Latin Music Awards delivered awesome performances and well deserved winners. Don Omar and the legendary Jenni Rivera swept the night away with the most wins. There was even an appearance by Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez, who awarded Don Omar Male Artist of the Year.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards had a stellar lineup of performances, including Marc Anthony, who premiered his single “Vivir mi vida” off his new album, his first in 10 years. The performances were kicked off by Daddy Yankee, followed by performances by Carlos Vives and Michel Telo, Wisin y Yandel, Mana, Juan Luis Guerra and many more!
The biggest award of the night, Song of the Year, went to Brazil’s very own Michel Telo for his hit song “Ai se eu te pego“. Going up against Don Omar for “Dutty Love” was no easy fight, but Telo came out on top. He was also able to share the stage with Colombian superstar Carlos Vives, singing “Como le gusta a tu cuerpo“, a collaboration from Vives’ new album “Corazon Profundo“.
Don Omar, the highest nominated artist of the night, closed out the show with a bang, performing his hit “Hasta que salga el sol“.
