Justin Bieber released a long statement on his instagram account to unload frustration and posted what started as a rant protesting of the “countless lies in the press right now” and defending himself specifically against claims that he’s headed to rehab.

“To those comparing me to Lindsay Lohan look at her 2012 tax statements,” Bieber wrote, before having a change of heart and deleting the post shortly afterwards.

According to the Associated press, in a passionate post Thursday, Bieber wrote that he’s “tired of all the countless lies in the press right now,” denying rumors that he’s going to rehab. Bieber railed against those he perceives as against him, writing that “I’m 19 and it must be scary to some people to think that this is just the beginning.”

The pop star originally ended the post with a jab at Lindsay Lohan, suggesting any comparison between the two was wrong.

Justin Bieber apologized

Bieber later apologized when reached by TMZ and asked to explain his insult of the reportedly near-broke starlet’s finances.

Bieber tells TMZ,  “My post was only up for a few minutes but I realized right away that what I said at the end was wrong and distracted from what I was trying to say.”

Bieber goes on: “I immediately deleted it and rewrote it so it would show what I was really feeling and those words are up now.”

This is the second time in a week that Bieber has taken to social media to shoot down tabloid reports about his life. “Cant phase me,” he tweeted on Wednesday. “Fake stories to sell papers i guess are part of the job. but im a good person. i know that. u cant tell me different. we know the truth.”

Bieber recently collapsed backstage during a London concert, tousled with paparazzi and canceled a performance in Portugal.
