If 2013 is half as good as 2012 was for Sofia Vergara, the actress can rest easy—this year will be terrific.

This Sunday, Vergara is up for a Golden Globe once more, after being nominated for her role as the electric Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in ABC’s Modern Family. This is her third nomination in as many years, and even if she doesn’t take the award, it is more than likely that her outfit will land her once again in best-dressed lists all around the world.

Last year, the Colombian beauty seemed to be everywhere, from selling Pepsi, to Burger King, to Comcast, to being a CoverGirl with Ellen DeGeneres—in fact, DeGeneres dressed as Vergara and her infamous wardrobe malfunction for her Halloween show.

The actress was a hot commodity. So much so that there was even an engagement, in fact. Vergara’s boyfriend, Nick Loeb, proposed to the actress at her 40th birthday celebrations in Mexico last August. She got to share the moment with the close friends and family that went on the trip with her—all 107 of them. Although rumors keep saying they’ve broken up, Vergara and Loeb seem to be going strong. They spent New Year’s in Miami, though it wasn’t without drama—Loeb got into a heated fight.

Professionally, in addition to her Modern Family commitments, Vergara appeared in the Farrelly Brothers comedy The Three Stooges, as she continued promoting her clothing line with Kmart, which turned a year old in September.

Over the summer, Forbes named her the best paid actress in television, with earnings that totaled $19 million.

“In Vergara, television has found the cross-over star it’s been waiting for since Desi Arnaz left the airwaves,” Meghan Casserly wrote for Forbes.com.

And she shows no signs of slowing down. This year, she has not one, not two, but three films set to come out.

Yes, it seems 2013 will be kind to Sofia Vergara, indeed.
