Kate Middleton joined her husband Prince William to attend a dinner at their old university, St Andrews, for a dinner in celebration of their alma mater’s 600th anniversary. The royal couple were supporting the charity which aims to provide financial support for able students who would not otherwise be able to study at St Andrews.
Kate Middleton see-through dress
The dress, which was originally intended as a skirt, was worn by Middleton for a charity fashion show at the University of St Andrews in 2002.The famous dress sold for an absurd $125,000 at auction, presumably so some other lady could try her luck at nabbing a member of the royal family.
The couple met a selection of current students, staff and alumni of the university during a reception before dinner. According to the daily record she gave a current undergraduate at the reception a knowing glance and said: “I hope you weren’t involved in the fashion show. You never know what you are going to be asked to wear.”
The royal couple fell in love as students when Kate Middleton caught the eye of one of the most eligible bachelors in the world when she walked down the catwalk in a very revealing see-through dress for a college fashion show.
