Celebrity Halloween costumes are the best fallbacks for those who left costume hunting for last. Being last minute doesn’t mean you won’t be the talk of the party. We have compiled a list of celebrity Halloween costumes from the infamous, cute and sexy celebs who made headlines in 2012.
You’re not going to find a Kim Kardashian dressed up as poison ivy or Paris Hilton in her Cinderella outfit. This is a different kind of list.
Celebrity Halloween costumes
Angelina Jolie’s leg
Angelina Jolie knows how to make an entrance, and apparently so does her leg. Back in February 2012 the 36-year-old actress posed for a photo on the red carpet at the Oscars, the pose dubbed Angelina Jolie’s leg, had the actress in an awkward position with her pale, thin, white leg protruding out. Her leg gained nationally attention, landing it on the list of celebrity Halloween costumes. You can pull off this look with a long sleek black dress with a slit on the right side and black pumps. Powder up, to make Angie’s right leg ghostly. Red lipstick finishes the look. And if you’re going as a couple, have your date be Brad Pitt with just a tux.
Remember just a few weeks ago Sesame Street’s Big Bird became the talk of a nation when Mitt Romney said he would cut funding to PBS. His “I love Big Bird but…” even sparked an Obama campaign ad featuring none other than Big Bird.
This celebrity Halloween costume would require some legwork. Hunting for it at costume shops may be a nightmare, but well worth it. This is the kind of costume people would talk about for days and you’ll likely be pegged for plenty of photos.
Honey Boo Boo
Honey Boo Boo, America’s 7-year-old sassy toddler who blurts out statements like “You better recognize” has landed on our celebrity Halloween costume list. On an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson’s mother said that the number of fans dressing up as Honey Boo Boo this Halloween has her interested in organizing a Honey Boo Book Halloween costume contest. The mini beauty queen from the TLC “Toddler’s and Tiaras” spinoff show appropriately named Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is the it costume for those looking for a girly, made up look.
To put it together, wear a short pageant-styled dress (with some puff), heels, airbrushed makeup, and a tiara. Don’t forget the sass!
Snooki, you either love her, hate her or love to hate her. This year Snooki gave birth to a boy named Lorenzo in August. The 4-foot-9 party-girl of “Jersey Shore” is a savvy business woman with public speaking requests at $X a pop and a perfume line. To be Snooki for Halloween just slip into a tight-fitting dress, be sure to wear a pushup bra, fake eyelashes, dangling earrings and pack on the accessories—no need to match! For the pregnant Snooki look, add a baby bump.
Fellas this one is for you. Most of us would prefer to remember Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry or the slick cowboy from “Fistful of Dollars” but nowadays Clint Eastwood is known for his bombed speech at the Republican National Convention. Clint’s public fumble puts him on the list for celebrity Halloween costumes. For the latter version of Clint, wear a nice suit and gray wig. You can opt to take a small fold out chair to get into character or just stand next to one at the party. You could also pull off cowboy Clint by wearing a poncho and cowboy boots and hat.
