VOXXI joins LATISM in Super Tuesday Twitter Party

    Super Tuesday is a definitive day for GOP candidates, as 10 states hold primaries or caucuses and  419 delegates are up for grabs. For the candidates to secure the Republican nomination they need 1,144 delegates.

    VOXXI joins LATISM for a Super Tuesday Twitter Party on Tuesday, March 6 from 9-11 p.m. The event will be moderated by Elianne Ramos whose Twitter handle is @ergeekgoddess.     GOP candidates total count on delegates and states won in primaries and caucuses, according LATISM.

    • Rick Santorum, former Pennsylvania senator, won in four states (Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri) and has 92 delegates.
    • Mitt Romney, former Massachusetts governor, won in eight states (Arizona, Florida, Maine, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, Washington and Wyoming) and has 203 delegates.
    • Newt Gingrich, former House speaker, won in South Carolina and has 33 delegates.
    • Ron Paul, Texas congressman, has not won any state primaries or caucuses and has 25 delegates.
