Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s marriage may have come to an abrupt end over the summer, but that hasn’t stopped them from working together as producers for the new talent show “Q’Viva! The Chosen.”
Alongside Simon Fuller, the mind that brought you “American Idol,” “So,You Think You Can Dance” and a litany of spinoffs, the superstar duo will join choreographer, Jamie King, when the show makes it’s Spanish-language U.S. debut Jan. 28 on Univision.
“It’s probably going to be the biggest thing I’ve been involved with yet,” said Lopez to USA Today. “This is like me being able to really go, ‘I am Latina and this is who we are!’
The singer, actress, mother and producer made headlines with her search for talent in Latin America for the show and her performance in Morocco with her new man. The show will air every Saturday at 7 p.m. and Anthony, Lopez and King have reportedly been scouring the country in the search for singers, musicians, dancers and other artists to add to the show’s line up.
